When times get tough build a house...Our second build Re: Miss Vintage's - An Update 244Jan 04, 2011 12:45 pm My last post was late September Early October and I was so positive things were moving on and then it all came to a shuddering stop! The shire didnt want to pass the pool because they didnt understand the engineering behind it. The house plan had to change to suit their requirements so back to the shire we go. Finance was put on hold ... everything was put on hold but now ... end of November the pool was finally approved, the house was reapproved and contracts were signed.... then early December we put in for finance and oh yes.... we are still waiting for the banks to get their acts into gear.... I swear I want to crawl into a ball and cry. Why does it take 4 weeks to get fianance approval... hurry up for gods sake I want a slab by the end of Jan!
