I was a little nervous about the Mouse when I selected it as I thought it might be too dark, but I'm loving it - its perfect !
I understand about the rentals, its tough going. Hope to see some action snaps from your house soon

We have chosen a Solution Dyed Nylon Carpet from the Suzi Wilks range at Solomans. Colour is similar to yours. Love the Suzie Wilks range We chose that range! What colour did you choose? We are going for "Melbourne". Evelyn - the sales guy at Solomans offered my DH the life size cardboard cut out of Suzi Wilks as he was also disppointed...lol!!! Dont think she will suit our new house...sorry Suzi...lol Building the Sorrento (modified) with Dechellis Status: Paving in progress Site works commenced: 22/2/10 Pre Handover: 14/9/10 Handover: 23/9/10 My thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=31665 Re: Building with Dechellis in 2010 334Jul 26, 2010 2:03 pm evelyng DoubleB Great choice! looks lovely! Are you tilling the rest of the floors, or carpet everywhere? Also - when your tiling was done on the outside, did they paint the edge of the grout/render? hope that makes sense? We have polished porcelain 600*300 tiles in the entry, chocolate tiles (as per bathroom) in the WIP, 189mm wide Flooded Gum timber boards in the main living area and rear hallway and the carpets in the bedrooms and formal lounge. The timber is similar to this, but a little redder: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ They didn't paint the edges, they just rendered it : Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Sorrento Nice choice Evelyn!!! Nice guy, and did a great price. We looked at that carpet, it was really nice and SDN is a really great product. DH was disappointed that Suzie didn't come with the carpet though. Wish we were at that point!! evelyng Entertainer Thats funny that you were nervous about the Mouse. My husband wanted to go to a lighter colour, but I was really keen on Mouse. He wasn't convinced, but let me have my colour, so I'm hoping it turns out good. Yours looks wonderful, but we have used the same colour (Mouse) for the cornices, just in gloss - don't know how that will go. I like your white ... oh well, can always paint cornices later if need be. It will definitely look good ! Its a great colour. I'm confused, do you mean gloss Mouse on the ceiling/cornices or on the skirting boards/architraves ? We went with Ceiling white for ceiling/cornices and gloss Parchment for skirtings/architraves. Don't mind me ... baby brain!! I mean't skirtings/achitraves, not cornices. So far as I know, cornices are the same as the ceiling! Re: Building with Dechellis in 2010 337Aug 03, 2010 6:44 pm Well, we had pre-handover today Everything went well, nothing major to fix, mostly a few wobbly paint lines and a ding here and there. Enough of the jibber jabber, I know you all want is pics.... They have waterproofed the sides of the slab and were working like mad to get all the earthworks and some pipework done before the rain hits tomorrow. Every time I talk to him I am more reassured that this guy is awesome and our garden is going to be superb! The pergola colours are all sorted. We chose a Fielders Centenary Freespan which will look a lot like this (but without the skylights sections, it will all be deck profile): Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Going to be a lot of pics coming in the next few weeks Re: Building with Dechellis in 2010 339Aug 03, 2010 6:59 pm Congrats - glad it went well! Almost there House looks lovely Some very artistic shots of taps, hand rails you have there! I am really glad the landscaper is good - I will only be getting them to do paving, stormwater and turf prep because a) there isn't much room on my block for anything else b) Council may (ok will) freak if I try to increase my roofed area any more with a pergola and c) I haven't had any success locating a money tree to date. Still - I'd like to know they will do a good job. I'm really looking forward to seeing the flooded gum as well - I never found that photo of Jose's...
