Re: Quick Fencing Question 4Jan 14, 2010 1:23 pm paul.jason Hels paul.jason Our house is still at scrape stage, yet our next door neighbour is pretty well advanced. All good so far. But the temporary fencing on their side (our east) may disappear soon as they progress in the build. When we organised ours we only did the back and west side, so if they take theirs away, do we have to compensate with putting our own east side temp fence up ? Most likely, but why not go halves with them now to get the permanent fence up? then the problem is solved Would it be better though to wait until that part of the house is done or not ? It'll be the blind side, about 1.38m between fence and house. I don't see why you would need to wait as it shouldn't effect the building process. The fence was done on our blind side before our house started and we are only 1.2m from it. There wasn't any problem and it meant that we didn't have to pay for temp fencing on that side Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new.
