PCI went pretty well a few things to sort out - Paving to be completed General clean inside of house Found a large scratch on the side panel of our oven Paint touch ups Waterproof planter Cleaning of external brick work Also only just remembered after the meeting that we noticed all of our power points and light switches were the wrong type, white r in instead of the matt silver. So easy to miss something, Pays to bring your addenda with you for anyone coming up to PCI or just go over it thoroughly before the meeting. One thing that is hard too is that its so hard to see with minimal light in our main living area, hopefully there arent any other scratches to worry about. Re: Building With SPH - 2nd PCI 13/08 154Aug 05, 2010 9:52 pm thanks guys yeh so happy with how the kitchen has turned out Shell, love it!! Have been in contact about our flooring, just need to follow up nearer the time as organising painter at the moment. Have been told wood floors take up to 4 days, heard its best to put wood floors down b4 carpet and wait up to a week after painting to install the floor boards so that it properly drys We r thinking of using Solver Smoke Pearl for all internal walls, ill have to find a sample and put it up here so u guys can let me now what u think, we will prob add maybe a feature wall for the theatre and main bedroom, anyone got any ideas on colours, picking paint isnt that easy Enviro smoke is our floor tile for laundry/bathroom/toilet zircon, is that what u picked? im sure u will be happy with it, nice mocha col Building the Claremont with SPH viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28206 Earthworks 16/02 Slab 23/02 Drainer 26/02 Bricks 03/03 Brickies started 30/03 Brickie meeting 31/03 Tile meeting booked for 21/06 Paving started 29/07 1st PCI 29/07 2nd PCI 13/08 Handover 09/09 Re: Building With SPH - 2nd PCI 13/08 155Aug 05, 2010 11:36 pm Quote: Enviro smoke is our floor tile for laundry/bathroom/toilet zircon, is that what u picked? im sure u will be happy with it, nice mocha col That's the one! Glad to see you're happy with it. It's always hard trying to visualise how a whole room will look based on one small tile at a tile shop! Re: Building With SPH - 2nd PCI 13/08 156Aug 06, 2010 12:09 am I'm pretty sure I remember reading another SPH'er saying they give you the metal face plates to put on after painting so you don't bend them getting them off.
