Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 61Apr 01, 2011 12:23 pm Howdy, Stage 3 still needs to have the paths done and driveways so it may be a while yet before thats completed. From memory the paths didnt take that long to complete, but as always youre waiting on the developer to start the process. - Juz Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 62Apr 04, 2011 9:55 pm Hi there Thanks for the info guys, very helpful, exciting to know the roads were done, last time i visited they were only just graded! We are on O'Rielly Rd. Stage 3 was supposed to title Dec 2010, so here we are towards 4 months overdue.. i'm hoping they get it done as per their revised July estimate which would make it 8 months overdue, not a great record from the developer so far, lets see if they can get it done faster than July and surprise us! Wondering how that will impact on parking etc, let alone the old problem of quality of tenants. The whole area has just come up very fast with a lot of houses there now.. Starting to look like a real neighborhood. Reminds me of when i first visited there back in 2009 and it looked like this; Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Now... there are houses everywhere. - Juz Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 68Aug 02, 2011 1:27 pm thanks for the information on stage 3 guys, just got informed by solicitor that the settlement will take place after 2 weeks for our lot. finaly this thread has been very quite a for a while... how are you guys progressing with the building? We could also get our keys next 4/5 months depending on weather/trades Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 73Aug 22, 2011 11:31 am Just got a letter from the builder it's for a 3rd party company to install the phone line to the house, they want $290 for this. Considering theres no driveway and nothing to go under it should be cheaper... also considering Telstra wanted jsut over $300 to do my bro's house which is fully complete. Any alternative services that any of you have used for the phone line to the home. Cheers Matnbridge Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 74Aug 22, 2011 2:14 pm Matnbridge Just got a letter from the builder it's for a 3rd party company to install the phone line to the house, they want $290 for this. I spoke to Telstra and they want $300 to do the line, however they have told me their isnt a service currently connected and that it wouldnt be done until Oct 01. So essentially i wont have a house phone for about 4 weeks after i move in. I would eerr on the side of caution and get Telstra to do the work. BTW , have you seen the grass in Stage 3 & 4 , its almost a foot high! Regards, Justin Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 75Aug 22, 2011 4:28 pm Quote: Howdy Mat. Yeah I saw during my last visit that the grass is foot high in stage 3, as I have a Lot in it do i need to do anything regarding it? Btw no more photo on your site... an interesting future development i came across: http://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/residents ... ns/wootten Mat, builder had already pen down new phone line cost in our building contract back in July 2010 They told us that if we don't get it done while site work is still on, would be bit expensive to get it done later. Cheers, Dhoom Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 76Aug 23, 2011 3:09 pm Dhoom, Yeah no more pictures until handover. It gets to a certain stage and the builder wont let you in on the weekends anymore , or leave a key for you. They basically get to a stage where they try to minimise clients having access due to theft or breakage etc Ill post a few pics on the weekend. Cheers Juz Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 77Aug 29, 2011 10:10 am Congrats on getting the keys! Thanks for the info.. I'll prbably give Telstra a call... I did see the grass actually.. looks more like a flower bed!! Wow nice find on the Wootten Road Reserve Master Plan if that actually happenes "and i wasnt relying on that when i first bought the land" talk about Jackpot the closest new Estate is Parkside directly benefiting us all. Our block personally is very close to that.. once all done and dusted we should organise a get together for the new home buyers at Parkside over there. The only thing we need now is a a nice bricked entryway with a Parkside emblem to make our estate look all cosy and nice. Some more photos would be nice jayjaytee Cheers Matnbridge Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 78Aug 29, 2011 10:15 am I hope the council start paying a bit more attention to the estate soon. The general messiness of the corner near the service road and also along the side of Basinview is really bad. They also really need a streetlight on the corner of Basinview. Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 79Sep 04, 2011 11:39 pm Finally all moved in, but no internet yet so just sending a message from my phone.. Enjoying my 6 weeks off and just relaxing. I hope everyone else's developments are moving ahead as planned.. Now, to start thinking about my christmas lights... - Juz Re: Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit? 80Sep 08, 2011 11:02 am Nice one Juz My Slab was poured yesterday, framer starting today/tomorrow i don't have a blog but i do regular weekly updates on my facebook, been heading out weekly so far.
