Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 10, 2010 7:20 pm only 2 weeks til we are in to sign final contracts ! It seems to be taking so long, but I think back to June when we sold our home and signed for our block of land and I guess its not that bad. I emailed our rep to make another adjustment last week but she said the plans had already been sent to the drafting people so we couldnt make any more changes. Im wondering though if they'll make one small exception now that weve bought our new fridge, the new fridge space is way to big, so i wanted to move the pantry over 120mm (bigger pantry, smaller fridge space) Do you think this is a big deal? or will they just make a not of it when we sign off? It hardly seems worth changing the plans, they could just sit that little frame to the left a bit? I emailed her, so hopefully its not to big of a deal. 2 more weeks!! YAY!! I think im more excited about seeing the 'real plans' Re: counting down to contract signing ! 3Jan 10, 2010 8:01 pm Good luck, we're due to sign our contract on Friday, but we are still waiting on the final plans.
