Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 10, 2011 9:36 pm Just wondering if someone can give me a rough idea how much it will cost to get fly screens on all the windows of a 300m2 house? I know it will vary from house to house but I have no idea what to expect. Not doors, just windows. Didn't know if I should be expecting $100's or $1000's, glad it should only be a few hundred. Ok this probably sounds silly, but where do I get the screens from? The window manufacturer? We will be getting them after handover. Re: Fly Screen Cost? 8Apr 12, 2011 8:40 pm hello Selina, ive been interested in watching your updates, we built with AVJ and finished about 7 months ago I got on here the other day after a 7 month break and cant believe i've managed to tuck away all the who haaa that comes with building you can use PRW windows and doors for your fly screens, they are an AVJ supplier, based in syd but have guys working in newy all the time, they did a measure for us while we were at work and then fit later, the whole job cost us about $1,000 that included 6 screen doors without midrails on a 250sqm house, i'd recommend them when you finish your place jennings will give you a book with all the suppliers in it, thats how i found it Goodluck with it all, we've got a great house, i f*cking love it, and it was finished to a very high standard Re: Fly Screen Cost? 9Apr 13, 2011 10:29 am Thanks Mrs P and Mav...
