I did not look inside one in places on the edge of the trenches near pipes. I have never seen this before. Can anyone comment I will add a picture when I can! Re: Bags of Sand? Used in slab preparation 2Jun 17, 2015 10:17 pm Its quite common to use sandbags to hold pipes in place if there is a high groundwater or rainfall may mean that the trench could start to fill with water.
