Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 17, 2015 11:45 am Hi All I have purchased unregistered land in Schofields NSW and I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how long civil works took on their unregistered land. Then how long was it till it was all settled in your name. Thanks Re: How long did your unregistered land take 3Jun 18, 2015 8:30 am We bought in September 2013 and are not expecting Title until next month at the earliest.... you could be in for a wait. Depends on the developer I think. The developers who sell you the land should be able to give you a rough expected registration date. It varies widely and really depends on how much they have prepped the land before they sell it. When we purchased ours it was just a dirt patch in the distance - you couldnt get anywhere near it. It was probably 6 months after purchase that it was actually pegged out and some roads in.
