The Range Estate - Croydon.....Anyone else Building there?

hey everyone, sorry we haven't posted much over the last few weeks.. We've been super busy!!
Moving into the house (still our retaining wall done and the dirt out the front/back needs removing) and then last weekend was really busy getting married.
How's everyone's build going, do people have start dates/move in dates? Matt it was great seeing you before our big day. Any news on your place? Nat & Claire..Eskay looking good!!
hows things going for your guys?
keep in touch, and see ya round the estate. hopefully Xmas drinks!!

Have been at the house all morning - the retaining walls should all be finished by tomorrow night. Our settlement is next Thursday so we will move in on Friday - can't wait :z:

Hope you had a great day - if rain is a sign of good luck then you guys will be together forever!

Its looks like alls quiet on the forum now. We certainly have been busy, still settling in but loving where we are. Drove around the estate the other day and was really surprised to see the roads that have been opened up. The views are beautiful, as we expected them to be.

Signed up with DFH and just had our color appointment. Can't wait to start building, stage 8 is definitely coming along nicely! Still going over the plan and have a few details to finalise...
Stage 8 took a while and we are just starting to sort things out.

Well after almost 2 years of waiting our site has been cut! Thank god our builders are so fast and competant compared to that developer that shall remain nameless. And even better we are going to be getting the nbn, confirmed from 2 sources! Now if only those as advertised wet lands could be built a bit sooner!!

Hi Karmaz.. We have finally move on dec, and since then a lot of gardening has been happening. Our neighbors are awesome.

Hi Everyone,

Hope all builds are going well with the sunshine (man it was windy today!) and everyone who is in, is enjoying their new house. We have no news to tell, well nothing good anyway. The bank is stuffing us around and so is the builder, it's very exhausting and painful! But, hopefully we are nearing the end and the actual build process goes much much smoother!

817, good to hear from you. How has it been going with DFH so far? We loved one of their houses when we were looking around, but it was a tad large for our block. What house are you building with them?

And both yourself and Karmaz, congrats on the new business'. Had a look at both websites, my partner will love your spices, and I've checked out your animal website and it's VERY cool. We have lots of cats so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that! They are spoilt rotten!

Lot 808, are you on the forum? Your house looks awesome so far too, you are behind us :-)

Well, hope everyone had a great weekend. Haven't been online for ages, back to work after christmas and spent all my time off, plus some up until now, organising the wedding. Fun, but time consuming (and costly). Feel free to give us advice anyone out their already married :-)

Nat/Karmaz - congratulations on the new business ventures, have checked out both websites and will definately be buying things from both of you shortly

As for us, we had our PCI Inspection Friday week ago and unfortunately came out with a long list of touch ups (but nothing too major which was great) so we are hoping (with all fingers and toes crossed) that they will all be completed by this Friday so we can settle early next week.

We are really pushing them as we have tentatively booked in removalists for the 16th which we really do not want to reschedule - after 26 months we are very much wanting to finally live in our house and get out of our rental.

Hey.. Danni, how is everything going? We need to get together and have a drink. The Range is looking great and lots of new houses popping up down the hill.
If you want something for your furry friend just give me a call or stop by, I have some stuff at home but others are at the warehouse.. Shane and his 2 doggies (Rosie & Poppy) have became fantastic customers!!!

Hi Msy,

We built with Carlisle Homes - cannot speak highly enough of them. Fixed price contract was one of the most appealing things to us as we had a budget and didn't want the builder to come back half way through the build and say because of xyz it was now going to cost more. We got what we paid for and they were ahead of schedule. We are at 57 Norris Circuit if you wanted to pop around and have a look some time!

Our landscaper was Chris Shevlin from 'Gnangara Landscape Construction', 0407 543 457. We found him to be fantastic, and only have good things to say about him. He had really good ideas, but also listened to what we wanted!

We're at 41 Norris Cct if you want to have a look.
