GOOD NEWS! 163Feb 13, 2010 2:41 am Week 16 http://vundaful.blogspot.com/2010/02/week-16-white-plaster-set.html It's true what they say - the white really does make the house look bigger. Some rooms look HUGE. Oh and the house echoes now, how odd that I didn't notice the lack of it before. We're on-track for our front doors to be installed next Tuesday, at which point we reach lock up stage! Aww tankyou Pooshie Our ensuite/master bedroom setup is our little sanctuary, it was the most extensively remodelled variation on the house. Gotta love the builder though, they didn't charge a thing for moving stuff around, just for any extra material costs incurred mpcj looking fantastic. Can't wait to see how it progresses now.... Yeah can't wait to see mah DOORS!! Though, that green prepainting surface on most doors always seems kooky to me. Doesn't everything look huge now! Woohoo Yeah it's funny how your perspective changes along the build. The slab makes it all look tiny, once the walls are up it looks a bit bigger, then it apparently shrinks once you get ceilings, then the plaster comes along and makes your eyes pop Purple Butterfly Looks awesome V! Woop woop! Bring on lock up! Re: Vundaful's House - Completely Plastered! 176Feb 15, 2010 12:43 pm Hey Vunderful, Its looking great, really makes a difference in defining the lines through the house. Your house is looking great, I realise now we must have driven past it on the weekend. We often go to the Helena Valley IGA on a Sunday and usually do a little drive through and check out the new builds. Re: Vundaful's House - Completely Plastered! 178Feb 15, 2010 9:25 pm Wow no way! Perth is such a small place Hubby grew up/lived in Kalamunda so I've got a pretty good familiarity with it, the hills are a gorgeous place. The Helena Valley IGA is something special, it's such a nice little supermarket. And you certainly would have driven past us, we're right at the front! Some of the houses along the side have awesome facades, the Dale A. Homes portico+verandah ones (2 exactly the same next to each other ) are to die for.
