Oh we would if we could BUT we have the split home and that is where the split is and we cannot go into the kitchen from the garage. However that is why we also put the sliding door from the garage to the backyard....then i can go from that to the sliding next to the kitchen to bring in food shopping or an esky or something to the car....we will have stairs OR hopefully decking out that side so it will be easy as. But couldn't find a benchtop that I liked to go with it. You can go to the laminex shop in the city and get big samples. They also have all the benchtops as pull out things and you can take the doors and put them against them to see how they look. I'd say the French Sandstone or the Beach Stone. The problem with the small samples is you can't see how far the design ranges across it, like if there is a 'fake' stone vein that runs through it. Oh and then going back and cleaning up. Oh and school/kindy started. And to top it all off....we all took in turns having Gastro. Lucky me had it last night sooo too tired to take kids to school/kindy today.....soooo have the noisy rat bags home in our little rented townhouse. eeeeeeeeeeeek So update on the building now..... we got our masterplans the day before we moved house and low and behold.... there were 4 mistakes. 3 of those 4 very very major mistakes. Soooo had to try to write up a letter and explain what needed to be changed to make it the way it should be. I hope I wasn't too harsh how I wrote the letter....but i just wanted to get the point across that I want the changes fixed and everything right before we sign off on it. I'm not going to be taken for a ride. Oh and we found holes in our block so we believe that the soil testing has been done...yay....it's a start!
