- When we went down to our block to wait for a fencing contractor to give us a quote, we caught up with our front neighbour (who sold us the block). She indicated that the current tenants next door to her on the RHS had just moved in, to which we replied that we were kicking ourselves that we were too late in finding out it was available for lease and asked her to keep an ear out on behalf of us, if she came across any other rentals that might come available around our area.
- Que a couple of days later, and I get this phone call from the R/E that manages that neighbours property. Here's me thinking they were catching up on our courtesy message regarding informing the owners about the fence work required. Ummm...well that's good the agent says, but that's not what I'm ringing about. Ohhhh...I say, slightly intrigued.
- Apparently, the current tenants weren't working out, so the owner requested the agent to contact us and offer the rental to us after being informed by our front neighbour! How's that!!
What this means: If we can negotiate the rental price and move in mid-November - WE CAN WATCH OUR HOUSE BEING BUILT DIRECTLY NEXT DOOR!!
HOWZAT!!!
