Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 21, 2009 1:11 pm Hi We're looking at polished porcelain tiles for the whole house (except bedrooms which will be carpet). We had them in our old house (just on the kitchen floor and splashback) when we renovated our kitchen 12 months ago and they looked great. Anyway while at a tile shop the other day the salesperson said that depending on the Nano finish used on the tile, it will wear off within 12-24 months after they are laid??? I have never heard of this as I assumed if the tile stated they are Nano Finished then they are properly sealed. BUT apprarently as I have been told, there are various grades of the Nano finish seal. So my query is if anyone has heard of the Nano finish wearing off within 1 to 2 years and if so, did they just seal the tile themselves - apparently this can be done - or did your tiler seal it for you and how much extra were you charged (if you don't mind me asking). Thanks in advance Hi All, we are starting to think of building with Masterpiece Builders in Victoria, has anyone had any feedback or experience with them 0 13822 Hi we are looking to talk to people who have built with them recently. We have signed mid range built contract but identified that a lot of things are not included.… 0 762 I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15448 |
