PICS 1123Feb 22, 2011 8:17 pm Good to see you back online SW, but very sorry to hear you've been having a rough time. I've often thought of you and how your house is going, sad to hear that it didn't end up as we had all hoped it would..with a happy ending. Sending positive thoughts to you and your lovely little girl. Re: Longridge Madison - solar passivity on the rise!! PICS 1124Feb 22, 2011 8:32 pm Thanks all. We have had a little time to get used to our new arrangements. I'm quite happily installed into a lovely little rental house within crawling distance of drunken distraction for the nights when I don't have the girl, and it's all starting to fall into place. He has had some decking done in the alfresco area, and it is looking really nice. I'll try to remember to post some pics next time I'm able to take some. Potentially tomorrow morning. We shall see. Re: Longridge Madison - solar passivity on the rise!! PICS 1126Feb 22, 2011 8:46 pm Good to hear that you have settled into the rental! Re: Longridge Madison - solar passivity on the rise!! PICS 1128Jun 05, 2011 6:26 pm Hi Somewoman, Just checking to see how things are going with you? Re: Longridge Madison - solar passivity on the rise!! PICS 1129Jun 21, 2011 9:01 pm Hey Jessie. I'm doing ok. So is Pipe. He's gradually getting things done around the house. I still need to take a bunch of pics sometime when there to keep you guys updated - or nag him to do so Doubt I'll be able to afford to do that again, but hopefully in a year or so I might buy an old house for myself and jump on here when I start renovating it Re: Longridge Madison - solar passivity on the rise!! I've often wondered how things were going. Sometimes when people are finished building they move on from H1 and I thought that's what happened to you. Hope you and your daughter are doing ok making the adjustments. Hugs to you. Handover February 2011 Happy with our home Re: Longridge Madison - lalala 1138Jun 23, 2011 11:49 pm Hey Robin It wasn't exactly according to the master plan, but these things happen. It has been more than 6 months now, so getting used to it... The girl seems to have adjusted pretty well to the changes and is very excited that she has TWO HOUSES!!! Even if daddy's is much bigger and better than mummy's I really miss my kitchen and ensuite *sigh* Re: Longridge Madison - lalala 1139Jun 26, 2011 8:22 pm Hey sw, I love your positive attitude and I'm sure your next adventure will be a great one. Two houses is very cool for your little one! Two bedrooms to fill with beautiful things. Cheers lovely. Re: Longridge Madison - lalala 1140Jun 30, 2011 8:27 pm I had also wondered how you are getting on and glad to hear things are going ok. I have been inspired by a lot of your advice and comments on your thread and the old SA thread, particularly the passive living advice as we want to incorporate some into our house once we start to build.
