Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 17, 2009 2:11 pm Hello All !! We are planning to get either Kempas or Blackbutt flooring in the downstairs living area ... And browish shade (mushroomy) carpets upstairs. Any suggestions as to what wall colour would go well with this flooring ? I believe Kempas (or even Blackbutt) is quite dark. We have to select from Taubmans brand. Any suggestions ... vastly appreciated !! Re: Wall colour to go with Kempas or Blackbutt flooring .... ? 2Dec 18, 2009 8:17 am Kempas is a reddish colour from memory and Blackbutt is quite a light colour. Best to take a sample of the timber to your colour selection appointment. We have done it the other way around, have selected what we wanted for colours and then will select the timber flooring which will suit it. MadCow Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5179 Hi there, we have classic cream gutters, fascia’s, roller door and undercover carport.
