Browse Forums Building A New House Re: peterstannard homes, WA...new colour selections 21Feb 02, 2010 5:32 pm Well, its been a silent couple of weeks. Builder's Case Manager had emailed us a few weeks ago informing that the brick work will start during the 1st week of Feb. In the mean while we went to visit a few display homes built towards the end of 2009. Beautiful display home by WB home called cascades. http://wbhomes.com.au/#/homes/displayho ... es/gallery Neutrals for exterior and warm whites for interiors are the in thing. Also loved the wall paper in the bathroom in a very warm white. We loved it so much that we decided to change our colour selections . So today, I emailed our CM asking her if we could change the colour selections for the following: Roof tiles: Vienna Oak (was Vienna Mulberry) Window frames: Silver lustre (was White lustre) Garage door: Jasper Brown ( was Timbagrain coaba) Internal doors: Solver Antique White (was solver designer white) Bought a sample tin and tried the colour. Beautiful cream colour. Just what were were looking for. Will post some pics once i have applied couple of coates more Waiting anxiously for a response. The window frames are already on site. Wonder if we can still change the colour or not? Anyone????? Thanx Sveta Finance approval: Early June, 2009 Contract signed: June 19,2009 Slab: December 15, 2009 http://dynastywa.blogspot.com Re: peterstannard homes, WA 22Feb 02, 2010 6:00 pm If the window frames are on site that means that they have been ordered and paid-for by the builder. Highly unlikely that they would allow you to swap at this stage (and if they did they would charge you a lot of $$$). The frames come in the colour ordered - they are not painted on-site With that said - you might be lucky and they might be in a good mood - always pays to ask the question! Good luck! Got a call yesterday from the CM. As expected a bit too late to change window frame colour. But all other changes were allowed. Hurray!!! We are really happy and relieved. Now just got to find someone to do the soakwells and exposed agggregate. Looking for quotes Any suggestions and recommendations are welcome. Have asked for a quote from someone who was suggested by a fellow homeone member..fingers crossed Re: peterstannard homes, WA 24Feb 04, 2010 8:54 am Hi Sveta, Just found your thread and have been looking at your blog Love your colour selections - the red splashback is soooo gorgeous and your feature tiles are divine. Thank you for your reassuring words. Fingers crossed. Hope it all comes together well. Homeone helped us heaps to make my selections. Thanx to all the bloggers. Well, things have been very slow with the build for the last few weeks. The bricking was supposed to start this week, but we went over to the site yesterday and to our disappointment nothing, nada zilch. The only new thing we noticed new was that the main entrance door frame was on site http://dynastywa.blogspot.com/ Re: peterstannard homes, WA 27Feb 06, 2010 11:06 pm Thanx Annietom Thought i'd post some pics over the weekend:) Solver antique white after three coates: its quite creamy and i like it http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/9611 ... ewhite.jpg Ensuite tile, Nettuno Levigato http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/5323/ensuitetile.jpg Ensuite feature tile, Giove Levigato http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/6621/e ... etiles.jpg Bristile roof tiles: Vienna Oak http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/1796/img1004e.jpg http://dynastywa.blogspot.com/ Re: peterstannard homes, WA 28Feb 08, 2010 7:05 pm New update: all variations in colour were approved by builder with any cost, which was awesome. But including laundry flooring with porcelain tiles cost $1540 . We were credited $261 for changing garage door colour from timbagrain coaba to Jasmin Brown. I am sure they would have charged us $500 if we wanted the change to Timbagrain coaba.. Re: peterstannard homes, WA 29Mar 14, 2010 10:46 am Hi, we have visited the display home in Floreat a number of times and think it's a really great home. We are seriously considering using Peter Stannard, and have enjoyed reading your blog, but I'm just wondering why the delay between contract signing and slab down?
