This is our situation with our future phone connection.
I'll put some sketches, it's easier than explaining.
Background:
The builder installed our private power pole recently. They also provided the trench from the pole to the house. In the same trench, there is the power line and also the Telstra conduit. There is no phone wire yet, just some draw string. All of this is on the far right side of the block.
Problem: Our telstra pit is on the opposite side of the block, some 20m away (on the nature strip). There is no other (ie. more convenient) pit for us.
Question:
How can we connect the phone wire to the pit??

Any other ideas or comments please? Is anything wrong with any of the options (& are they possible)? Is this really a problem in the first place???
And why do the electricity meter box and the phone connection box must be close together (on the same wall)?
Thanks!!
