http://buildingwithwisdomhomes.blogspot.com/ where we are upto 2Mar 13, 2009 10:47 pm Well i have just registered tonight, We have been looking at builders for the past 6 months. It has not been easy to finally choose a builder just hoping we have made the right choose.
We are upto the drawing stage paid the $3000 2 weeks ago and the land settled today So very confessed with colour choices and how many choice are to be made *scared* lol Has anyone completed? how long did it take? thanks http://buildingwithwisdomhomes.blogspot.com/ Re: wisdom home@ spring farm-concerns for after handover work 3Mar 14, 2009 10:11 am Hello fellow Wisdom builder!
We did our colour selections about a month ago now. We went in with no idea what we wanted and were frankly petrified about the thought of it! Our appointment with Ms A went like a dream! She made it sooooooooooo easy for us. She is on hand with lots of suggestions and is able to put a bunch of things together that work really well, you just have to decide what you like. We were in and out with our colours within our two hour appointment (which also included lots of chatting ) You also get a bunch of samples to take home so you can see them all work together and pick furniture and stuff. We probably lost a bit of sleep the night before the appointment thinking that between the two of us (with no sense of colour whatsoever) our house would look like a mismatched circus tent. But we left there VERY confident that all the choices we made were the right ones (plus Ms A will NOT let you do anything that will look bad!). Good luck Building a Wisdom Homes Impression 33 MkII http://lilypadintheponds.blogspot.com/ We have the keys! Tiling in progress... Intrested to see if you guys made any changes to the floorplan and upgrdes. Re: wisdom home@ spring farm-concerns for after handover work 10Mar 15, 2009 8:43 am Hi ponds2228,
We are building the Serenity 29 and made only a few small changes. We closed in one of the doorways into the home theatre that was the only change to the floor plan. As for upgrades we have gone for down lights at the front entry, front door to timber, internal doors, white liminate to bathrooms windows, render to front of house, niche to main bedroom, aircon, few extras to alarm system, overhead cupboards to kitchen,longer/wider bath, ceiling fan to leisure area and the 2 upgrade packages offered by wisdom(lifestyle/kitchen) We loved the floor plan so there was no need for alot of change to it we were also looking at the sorento 29 it was a choice between the 2 floorplans and the serenity was right for us. hope this was some help to you http://buildingwithwisdomhomes.blogspot.com/ PONDS2228 good on you guys! we are building sorento 29 too at the ponds ! its a shame there is no sorrento on display but I guess the feel will be some what simillar to esperence in elderslie. I believe you've made a good choice going with Wisdom. We've been so pleased with them so far. All the staff seem to have a good focus on customer satisfaction, we've always had prompt replies to queries from head office, they've been patient with us (e.g. when we made several changes to our electrical plan right up to the last minute), and our SS has been great. We get regular updates from him, and he's always available on the phone to answer our queries/concerns. There were a few issues picked up at our pre-plaster inspection, but these were all addressed promptly and with no fuss or hassle. All in all, as you can tell, we're very pleased with W! I don't want to sound like i'm plugging Wisdom, but i believe in credit where credit's due. I've added your blog feed to my RSS reader to see how your progress goes. Keep the updates coming. Thank you bobbuilder, i have been watching your blog for quite sometime and it has been helpful with going with wisdom, we also asked some people in Mt annan that had completed with wisdom and they only had good feed back as well. As happy to be building with wisdom but still worried about selections and the dread standard and upgrades So we will have to wait and see what happens once we get to that stage i look forward to keeping upto date with your build thanks http://buildingwithwisdomhomes.blogspot.com/ Re: wisdom home@ spring farm-concerns for after handover work 16Mar 16, 2009 9:00 pm Hopefully this is not a premature statement because it's still pending finance but I'm building a Manhattan 42 with Wisdom. Have just deposited on the land and waiting on the contract for that so I can get the bank moving faster (been waiting 16 days in pre-approval). Also put $600 to Wisdom for the soil report. Will keep you all updated when things proceed. Re: wisdom home@ spring farm-concerns for after handover work 17Mar 16, 2009 9:40 pm Hey 1sttimer,

Hi Ames, Can you tell me more about this private certification? Is it necessaray or just something you are doing for peace of mind? Cheers, Douglas Re: wisdom home@ spring farm-concerns for after handover work 20Mar 17, 2009 8:46 am Douglas "Our land settled on the 13th March! Cheers, Douglas Hi Douglas, It is actually something new that the NSW gov have introduced so that it is quicker to get the DA approved instead of having to go through council. It is done by a private company and can be completed in around 10days.
