I'm wondering if anyone has used hebel, and am particularly interested in whether it cracks, or moves over time. And if it does, is it difficult to repair? Any thoughts most appreciated .... Re: Longevity of Hebel 2Jan 05, 2010 7:48 pm Hebel is a great product. it is simply aerated concrete, it has a long life and should need little maintenance, if installed correctly is should not crack or shrink. It is these reasons it is still used in some built up shower trays today. great choice, hebel can even be used as flooring.... giving noise and insulation under foot.
