Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 11, 2009 1:10 pm For those looking for lounge furniture with a difference or that uber-home theater entertainment unit, I just picked up this entertainment unit for $900.
Goes really well with the stainless steel dulux metalic colour of my feature wall.
Re: Ultra cool Home theatre furniture 2Dec 11, 2009 1:58 pm That looks pretty ace. I'm a fan of modern stuff. Don't suppose you can take a pic of it set up at your place with the feature wall? I'm thinking of doing a similar colour. Thanks. Re: Ultra cool Home theatre furniture 4Dec 12, 2009 12:45 am Sheepdog That looks pretty ace. I'm a fan of modern stuff. The metalic paint effect is really nice by the way. Hard to apply though in a cross hatch fasion as it dries quick. The sunlight reflects at all different angles and really brings out the sparkle. the entertainment unit is 2m wide so fits a 52" TvV really well. I meant hard as in - you have to do a cross stroke with paint that dries fast, and you need consisten length and overlaps to get a continuous pattern. It's not as easy as it looks. the best way is to roll it on and then brush it out. The paint was $68/L from Bunnings so suitable for a feature fall.
