Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Dreamstart Homes- Has anyone dealt with them?? 2Dec 09, 2009 9:24 pm I'm sorry, i've never heard of them! I may have... but its really not familiar to me. Have you been through their home in ... Milbrook was it? I may have to pay a visit!! LOL viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: Dreamstart Homes- Has anyone dealt with them?? 3Dec 10, 2009 3:37 pm Yes I had a peek yesterday, it's in Millbridge (Eaton) and it is over the bridge in the new section. There are plenty of other display homes all along the street. I really liked the look of the house, I am just wary of the company, as nobody seems to know anything about them.. Be positive!Think Lucky, Be Lucky! Re: Dreamstart Homes- Has anyone dealt with them?? 4Dec 11, 2009 12:42 pm g'day, Dreamstart are a building company that started up this year - they are part of *. Can't vouch for them personally, but know * have a good name and build some really good houses. I'd say Dreamstart would be up to par based on this one alone. Re: Dreamstart Homes- Has anyone dealt with them?? 6Jun 17, 2010 1:12 pm I've recently signed up with DreamStart homes. After oringinally signong up with the HBC(I can't believe this company is still getting customers, competely incompetent bunch of salesman/ not builders). I've found that Dreamstart is much better built home with more inclusions at a better price. It has been a much better experience with dreamstart so far. I've done major modes to the design ie: cause I'm on a corner block I have moved my garage to the rear of the property to face out onto the laneway. and have conected to the house via a 6x6mtr alfresco to the house(all one roof) also have moved laundry and made master suite a true master suite with huge ensuite and his/hers walk in robes. on a Dreanstart180 design it has ended up costing about an extra 30k. which I think is pretty reasonable Will be doing prestart in about 1-2 weeks. Re: Dreamstart Homes- Has anyone dealt with them?? 7Sep 17, 2012 3:10 pm We was looking at getting a home with Dreamstart homes, but unfortunately we had a family emergency which stopped us being able to proceed with the purchase. From the start we was told the $1500 would be refunded if we did not go ahead, now we are being told that this is not the case check the contracts very carefully full of loops holes not in the clients favor. We had not even done pre-start meeting, which our contract says nothing is legally binding until this step is done.. Hope this helps someone avoid what we went through.
