I really LOVE that lounge suite, it would be so nice to have something like that but my kids would trash it same goes for beautiful polished floors... but maybe in our next house (although DH says he is being carried out of this one in a pine box eg he DOES NOT want to move again ) Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, and professionals built the Titanic." Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 109May 10, 2010 4:48 pm Thanks Hels. We have no kids at the moment but I have a very realistic outlook on how messy everything is going to get. The lounge was something my other half loved more than I did and in the end we had to get it. It certainly was a big splurge. Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 110May 11, 2010 11:34 am ahh yes dollar, i have been following your thread. looks like its come together fantastically. love your sofa too! i think my problem with this website is i cant remember whos ive seen and whos i havent...im just addicted, its so nice to see it all come together When times get tough build a house...Our second build Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 111May 11, 2010 11:36 am Thanks Sharky. It was exciting helping out those starting their building journey and oh what a roller coaster ride they'll be on. They actually said our home was the best in the street & that ours should be a display home (i was a bit chuffed really) still hard to believe and maybe they were just being nice. Anyway that's made my weekend. Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 114May 16, 2010 5:45 pm i am a big fan of your ensuite colour scheme (yes the towels too), we are doing something similar except we wont go up the walls with the grey white grey green/yellows you just cant go past it, very nice Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 115May 16, 2010 5:52 pm Your house is stunning - how did I miss that door??? Love the wood floors, bathrooms all of it Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 116May 16, 2010 8:59 pm Oh thanks so much Blue steel. Mav any room with warm tones (black being my fave at the moment) will look fabulous. I love our ensuite. It's my fave part of the house. What are is your colour scheme with your ensuite/bathroom? Those feature tiles just happened at the tile place. They cost a fortune but couldn't be happier. Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 117May 16, 2010 9:02 pm The tiles are black-maybe not a true full black but close. My mother thought they were brown. The timber floors are beautiful and very hard to keep free of dust. Eek. Once landscaping done it should all start to settle. Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 118May 16, 2010 9:05 pm just went back and drooled over your ensuite again...... I wish we had of done something similar for the other wet areas-black tiles and white cabinet/vanity etc or something like that. Oh well-we can always change it. no one liked the idea of a dark ensuite nor black kitchen but when they see it it's their fave part of the house. I'm painting the bathroom grey. Re: Dollarz House...updated photos 09/05 120May 16, 2010 9:16 pm Our last ensuite was black-I loved it!
