First New Home in Logan

Hi Everyone,

I'm building my first new home in Logan QLD. I've checked out a few plans and like the look of the Pl@nt@tion Regatta at this stage. I know my next door neighbour has P class soil, which I've heard is really bad. Without getting a soil test now, what should I budget for the site costs? $10,000??
The block is easy to get access to and is totally flat.

I am building a new home I have a s which is slightly reactive
and some earthwork for a 700mm fall and we had to paid $6000

p class is problem site or cut and fill

Would be pretty impossible to give a reasonable estimate.

It really depends on the reason for the P classification. It could be something just on their block which wont affect you at all, or could be a big problem for you too!

If you can find out the reason their block is a P class you might get a better idea.

My block was P class, which ended up costing me extra 7k for concrete piers.

We had a P class (P=problem according to the building people) and we paid around $4,500 in site costs. majority of that was concrete piers.

Ours was a relatively flat block (only a 300mm fall) with no trees or anything on the block.
