My house has just about reached lock up stage and I was just wondering if anyone knows from experience how long builders usually take off around Christmas? When do they usually get back into things? All my work will be the inside so the cabinetry and walls and floors? My SS told me once the kitchen cupboards go in it will be 6 weeks till we move in. The administration closes down for quite a short period, but I've been told by my construction manager that our site supervisor will be on holidays until January 18. Strangely, that's not what he told us when he said that we could be in by middle to late January!
