Re: When does the house become yours? 5Nov 21, 2009 9:35 pm The house is all yours when: - you all agree there are no existing/current defects with the house - OH&S Certificate is issued - Final Claim is paid - and builder gives you: keys, garage door remotes, presents , apologies , window/door tracking lubricant spray, survey you have to fill in, and so on. And lastly, the house is all yours from the moment you have no more tradespeople coming at random times to fix your broken microwave, patch up a ceiling, fix a rangehood, install a spa pump, and annoy the hell out of you (jokes). The process is pretty straightforward really.... Its all part of the daring adventure to build.
