Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 15, 2009 12:24 pm Hey all, We've been told that Simonds are changing tile suppliers next year to National Tiles. Since our house is scheduled to begin in April 2010, we're advised that National Tiles will be our supplier. But here's the thing, we have our color appointment booked in 2 weeks, followed by our contract appointment a week after that...yet we haven't even sighted any tiles or seen any range available to us. Any other Simonds customers care to reply? Cheers Re: S!/\/\onds & National Tiles 2Nov 15, 2009 12:27 pm You dont do your tile selection at colour selection, its on a different day once your build has started - so you dont choose a tile an then have them run out when its time to get them for your place. Simonds currently use Fashion Tiles, but since it wont apply to you I'd just check out the National tiles website. Cheers Caz Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... We really liked the standard selection that you can choose at no extra cost. We went for a larger floor tile so had to pay 10% extra for wastage which worked out at an extra $200 total which was pretty reasonable. We also added feature tiling to the bathroom/ kitchen wall tiles at a small cost to give it a more modern look. I haven't heard anything about Simonds changing to National Tiles.
