Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 5Nov 12, 2009 8:29 am Hi Trig, deleted penguin, mynewhouse, thanks for the responses. I'm going to build in Kellyville. I paid deposit to one of the builder in The Ponds, but yesterday I went to M3tricon tender presentation with one of my friend who's going to build Nolan 45. I was quite impressed with their profesionalism and the tender went smoothly. They were really flexible with the changes and the upgrade prices were really low. I know reading from this forum that many people built in Vic had bad experienced, but in the end like jspitz said, they do built good houses. I also think that since they are new in NSW, so they might look after us to built good name here. So I'm thinking to share with you all, whether you guys also have the same experiences or not and some advice if I should go with them. Thanks you all. Waiting for 2010 Land registration.... Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 6Nov 12, 2009 11:26 am We are just waiting on our commencement on our site, mind you we only gave them the Ok two days ago. But I am confident that we will have a slab real soon. To date - I must say that the entire team have been very very helpful. Lets hope that this continues thru the construction. Will be nice to share with others. Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 7Nov 12, 2009 11:50 am We just had our first tender appointment on Monday, and now have our colour appointment and contract signing scheduled for later this month, so we're not terribly far into it yet. That said, I'm happy with the way things have gone thus far. The response from M3tr!con has been excellent thus far. We even emailed (at 430pm) our contact asking if we could have CAD drawings of our site plan to do our landscaping plan from (I've got a bit of experience in this field), and I had the appropriate AutoCad DWG files by 6pm. So here's hoping it continues like this. I expect there will be bumps along the way, but even comparing our experiences thus far to those who have dealt with M3tr!con in Victoria, or even other builders here in Sydney, I'm pleased with how smooth it's been. Then again, we've done a lot of research and asked lots of questions to make sure no real surprises would jump up. Cheers! Stefan Building the M3tr!con Liberty 42 at Stonecutters Ridge. I still have until end of November to decide which builder I use. Will let u know. Cheers. Waiting for 2010 Land registration.... Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 10Feb 26, 2010 6:25 pm In the approval process with council at the moment. Due to bushfire regulations, everything is going really slow. The site start needs to happen, and soon. Our patience with M3tr1con is wearing thin, for various reasons... More on that later though... Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 15Apr 06, 2010 2:29 pm We looked there first, but couldn't find anything big enough for our Liberty 42. I think most of the others are 450's. I would have loved one of the 650's at the top with an 18m frontage but I was too slow. It's such a shame that the "standard" block size these days is 450. Incidentally, we are getting hit up for the additional cost of fencing because we are bigger than the "standard" Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 17Apr 06, 2010 7:37 pm "Additional Fencing" costs? Are they putting up the fencing for you? Stefan Building the M3tr!con Liberty 42 at Stonecutters Ridge. The New Build Blog - "Life, In Progress." Did you pay for your own? If so, mind me asking costs involved? Re: Who's building with M3tr!con in Sydney ? 19Apr 07, 2010 6:56 am We have an existing fence on two sides of the property, but the other two will be on our shoulders, and we haven't put it up yet. It's the side right next to the house so we can't put it up until the scaffolding comes down during the build process. So, don't have a price yet, but happy to share once we do.
