Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 10, 2009 11:44 am Hi Guys Just wanted to place a poll to find out how long it took your builder to draft up your first plans.. The reason I ask, is that it has been 7 weeks since I signed my contract with R*ws*n Homes and still nothing.. I've followed up fortnightly over the last month in a reasonable manner, however i only get the below response.. should i be worried ?!? I don't mind the delays, however cannot afford to get hit with a price bump from the builder (after 120 days) + miss out on the full FHOG. Don't believe they can increase profits if the contract gives a timeframe of 20 days for the plans ?!?
