Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 10, 2009 12:00 am Hi All Interested in Scott park City Beach design, but actual house not shown on display villages !! One due in Austin Cove in 3 weeks apparently. Anyone have pics of City Beach Design from the outside complete at all ? Cheers Davo Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 2Nov 10, 2009 11:59 am House can look however you want it to - add roof gables, blade walls, arched windows, planter boxes, small windows. Requires a good imagination to picture walking through when there is no display- or be patient! Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 3Nov 10, 2009 12:47 pm mindblower One due in Austin Cove in 3 weeks apparently. Oooh that's interesting, will need to pay a visit there once it's opened! There is a SPH display home being built in Wanneroo (Elliot Rd) that is similar to the City Beach internally (not identical though but the closest of all the display homes I've seen so far). It's due to open before the end of the year. I don't think there are any completed Vittoria range houses anywhere yet, well there definitely wasn't when we asked a couple months ago but that might have changed by now. Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 9Dec 23, 2010 9:12 am Hi agabob, Yes have decided on city beach design, have checked your site, looks good, were still waiting to get to earthwork stage.Seems to be taking forever.Photo's would be awsome. Thanks Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 10Dec 23, 2010 12:20 pm can you put the plans up on this site so i can have a sticky?? When times get tough build a house...Our second build Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 11Dec 23, 2010 1:46 pm Plans are available on the first page of my thread. However there was several modifications done to the original. All the photos are on the thread now Bella if you want to see it in different stages. http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=39361&p=639158#p639158 One advice only for you or actually two. I suggest you get rid of the window in the kitchen - the small one behind the benches. It doesn't serve any purpose and limits the kitchen space. Second - move the breakfast bench closer to the other bench. On plans it was looking normal but once it's built it's TOO BIG!!!!! You can almost fit the dinig table between them. Complete waste of space. And a lot of running between one and another. contract 10/11 prestart 04/10 slab 06/10 bricks 07/10 roof 09/10 plaster 10/10 Ceiling 10/10 LOCKUP 10/10 tiling wet areas 11/10 garage floor 11/10 PCI 12.01.11 handover 11.02.11 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=39361&hilit=malvern+springs We are in !!! Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 12Dec 24, 2010 9:54 am Too late for us to change anything on plan now unless we want to get charged.Never thought about how far kitchen benches were away from each other, Oh well could probably do with the exercise. Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 13Dec 24, 2010 11:58 am Neither did I. It's only when they put the cabinets I realized that it's so far apart. Did you make any changes to your plan? Put it up on the forum if you did. It's always fun to see how many versions of the same house we have here. contract 10/11 prestart 04/10 slab 06/10 bricks 07/10 roof 09/10 plaster 10/10 Ceiling 10/10 LOCKUP 10/10 tiling wet areas 11/10 garage floor 11/10 PCI 12.01.11 handover 11.02.11 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=39361&hilit=malvern+springs We are in !!! Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 15Jan 08, 2011 7:02 pm Very different once again. Cottage block I guess? What is bed 3 going to be used for? Re: Scott Park -City Beach Design 16Jan 09, 2011 3:33 pm bed 3 is going to be used as store room for my husband, just the 2 of us now,my dad hasn't been well so have extended bed 2 for him so he can have a small lounge and more room,so double doors are easy access for him from garage. Not quite sure I like it that way but probably works for us.Have a reasonable size block 1014 sq but is a funny shape, and only 12.5 at front. Garage was switched to the front as we already had crossover on that side, but it also gives us acess on other side to get car/trailer down to back yard. I would try the Queensland Electricity and Gas Ombudsman We had the same problem in Victoria and spoke to the Victorian Ombudsman and the supply was disconnected the next day. 1 725 Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13817 |
