I just had to say i liked your pics so much i have now changed my bricks to Jurien too!!! well atleast you're one person who really loves the colour. Well I Just spoke to our Builder, she had a quick look at the plans, and from the plans she had, the windows had been raised. She mentioned something about checking what copy the people actually doing the work have. But i mean wouldn't that be their fault aswell, not giving the final copy for them to follow? She's going to call me back, once shes figured it out. Oh and also, the carpet we picked out for the 3rd time isn't in our price range either (even though the builder said it was) So now we have to pick Another colour carpet. Freaking getting annoyed at all this now, it may be easier for me to do a trip up there and pick everything out in person. Re: aquamarine's house. Celebration homes DALYELLUP 23Nov 16, 2009 2:16 pm What a total pain in the backside!!! I'd be pretty cranky by now as well. How many times have you had to make reselections??? And yes. It would totally be your builders fault for not providing the contractors with the correct *final* copy of the plans. So the onus would be on them to rectify the problem. Fingers crossed this gets sorted quickly for you!! Oh, i'm going to take a slight detour on the way home today... just, you know... checking out homes... viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: aquamarine's house. Celebration homes DALYELLUP 24Nov 16, 2009 2:40 pm Quote: How many times have you had to make reselections??? Four times now, If we lived near them it wouldn't be such a big deal but being 2 hours away, it's not that easr just to choose a colour. We've had many photos sent to us, but a different camera makes the colours look slightly different so its all so confusing. Quote: So the onus would be on them to rectify the problem. Apparently she's talking to the building managers, so I guess that means they're trying to sort it out. I mean if it was our fault or something they would've just told us to deal with it by now right? Celebration homes DALYELLUP 25Nov 16, 2009 4:38 pm Hi Aquamarine, Who is your CLO? I am building with Celebrations too..and I have not had any problems with selection etc... Having said that, the few things i am unhappy about: 1) no SS contact 2) very strict with changes initiated by owner....!!! 3) no reply to emails....they will call back though ...SMART huh?? but their workmanship is not too bad and so far everything else is ok. Celebration homes DALYELLUP 26Nov 16, 2009 4:44 pm Stalker???? WHERE???? Tinfish, you'd have a different CLR wouldn't you? As aqua would be going out of the Bunbury Celebrations office? I prefer an email myself! As that way at least you've got it in writing viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: aquamarine's house. Celebration homes DALYELLUP 27Nov 16, 2009 5:09 pm AH yes....i missed that point!! Bunbury office....hrmmm....how annoying then,...i would have thought they would try to maintain the same kind of reputation no matter where they have an office. Builder called us back the other day to say their not willing to foot the bill to have this window changed because in the written contract it asks for all window to be at 18 courses, but on the plan the window is full length, so whoever drew up the plans didn't change the window and we singed off on the plans. I spoke to buildlers tribunal and they've said that we can probably take it to them as we have written proof that we asked for all windows to be changed, but who knows. For us it's worth it, it will cost apparently over $3000 to fix it ourselves and it's something that will forever annoy me about the house. so we'll just have to see what happens with that now. Jodie80 Did you manage to find the house? How is your house coming along? While looking in the house the other day Some guy in a Station wagon drove right up to the house and sat there chatting on the phone saying something along the lines of "Yer the house is at lock up there's people inside it, its on a corner block" and so on. At first I thought oh crap he's calling someone because we're inside. But when I went outside to talk to him he said someone had seen our roof colour and wanted to change theirs to the exact same as ours! So seems that someone else like out colour scheme also.
