Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 09, 2009 12:15 pm Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone in WA has built with Homebuyers Centre - they have just opened a display home in Mernda, Victoria and I was speaking to the Sales Rep who said they have been in WA for years and have decided to get into the Victorian market - I liked their house and would seriously consider using them but just thought I would see if anyone has any dealings with them in Wa and how they were. Many thanks in advance. Site Start: 10th September, 2010 PCI : Friday 27th January, 2011. Off the top of my head, there are threads by jpeg, chedasha, miss_petepie, lynnebin and I'm sure some others I've forgotten. If nothing comes up searching homebuyers centre, try HBC, that should bring them up. HBC is part of the ABN group, which is pretty huge in WA, and from their website they also run boutique homes in victoria. Re: Anyone built with Homebuyers Centre in WA now in Victoria!!! 5Nov 10, 2009 1:04 am miss_petepie yep, don't think they have anything called the retreat here. Plus, the whole way of building houses is different in victoria to wa, so i gues they'd need different plans for that too? and I'm with miss_petepie, on not having any real problems, once I got through all the paperwork and waiting at the beginning. Re: Anyone built with Homebuyers Centre in WA now in Victori 6Aug 29, 2011 2:42 pm Hi Ring09 I am looking at building a house with the Homebuyers Centre in Melbourne. I was just wondering what they were like to deal with? Were they good to deal with? Did you use their Finance department (Resolve) also? what were they like?? If you or anyone else can give me some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated. I am after some feedback as I have searched the name and found some negative comments about them so if you can help that would be great! Thanks Re: Anyone built with Homebuyers Centre in WA now in Victori 7Aug 30, 2011 1:05 pm gaju Hi Ring09 I am looking at building a house with the Homebuyers Centre in Melbourne. Thanks Hi Gaju, Yes we built with them and moved in Feb this year, we are really happy with our build overall. We did not use their Finance, we organised our own with our Bank. You can do a search on my name and it will bring up my build thread. Site Start: 10th September, 2010 PCI : Friday 27th January, 2011.
