Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 08, 2009 1:00 pm Hi! I hope I'm doing this right - it's my first post! I'm after a reputable fencing business to build us a couple of large swinging gates and a few fence panels out of colorbond. I tried to contact the one recommended previously, Southside I think it was, but all I got was disconnected phones. I would just like to hear if anyone has used someone and found their product and service good value for money. By the way we are building with GEMMILL HOMES on a cottage block. We have just had the cabinets put in and the tiler starts on Tuesday. I have nothing negative to say with the process so far. The house was started at the end of July and it has been constant progress since then! Our only negative is that the builder is saying that it won't be finished by the time they shutdown for Christmas and we have just been told the owners want to move back into our house on 4th January!! If you know of anyone with a house or even a self contained shed IE shower and toilet in the area who would be willing to do a week by week lease we would be grateful. We have an outstanding rental record and will provide information to support this if required. Our alternative is the 5 of us (myself, husband and 3 kids) moving into an extremely small 2 bedroom unit with my parents!!! Thanks!! Re: Help required Atwell WA 2Nov 08, 2009 1:13 pm What about looking for home-sitting positions? Lots of people go away for the Christmas holidays and need someone to housesit and look after pets etc. It might just give you a few extra weeks to stay out of your parents' place, and it's usually free. I might be looking for someone between 19th December and 14th January if I can't organise somewhere for my 2 dogs to go while I'm away My tac-home-ter: Been in 8 months! Re: Help required Atwell WA 3Nov 08, 2009 1:56 pm Oh I feel for you. We just went through the whole process of trying to find somewhere to stay from Dec to about March as our lease it up come Dec and owners are being ridiculous lol It is incredibly hard to find anything. All holiday accom is expensive. Caravan parks are expensive with lots of people lol. House sitting generally want single people. Basically we exhausted every avenue. Luckily at the last minute a family member offered there house to rent to us as they were moving in with their gf basically anyhow. Kat I know foam has been around since the 90's and CSR started manufacturing Hebel in 1989, so it's definitely possible 5 5442 Minimum overhang into gutter must be 50mm, turn down tool should not split the sheet. it seems wrong tool for the profile was used, the flashing cannot slope back.
