Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 07, 2009 7:33 pm We are having trouble finding the right colour scheme for our facade and interior... what is the best way to solve this problem? We are only allowed 3 hours at our colour selection day so we will need a rough idea before then. Thanks Re: Colour schemes 2Nov 07, 2009 7:42 pm Try this website, it can give you an idea, even if your not building with them. http://www.studiom.com.au/envisage Good Luck Builder; Big M Design; Soho 32 Facade; Ascent Blog; http://mickeyb-soho.blogspot.com Trend; viewtopic.php?f=31&t=23990 Re: Colour schemes 4Nov 08, 2009 9:49 am Also have a play with some of the online visualisers. Colorbond has one that's quite good - you can choose roofing (only Colorbond,of course, but at least you can get an idea even if you're using tiles), spouting, fascia, brick or render colours, garage door etc and see how it all works together. http://www.colorbond.com/go/home/residential/colour-visualiser Dulux has one too, I don't have the link handy though. It's particularly good for interior schemes. And you may be able to go browse through some of the builders' colour selection studios, even if you're not a customer (don't tell them though....). That way you can see what's available and look at laminate colours against other finishes, roof tiles against bricks, etc. P0rter D@vis has one in Melbourne that's open weekends, which isn't much help to you - but perhaps one of the volume builders in your area has something similar? Also go through as many display homes as you can and trawl through builders websites looking at their photos. When you find a look you like, grab your paint and laminate brochures, and pick similar colours. It's hard to go wrong.... Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7157 Hi - thanks for your reply.
