All the different bricks and categories should be listed in your colour selection handout your sales rep should have given you. cheers caz Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! This is something that we didnt receive. Should Simonds have provided us with such a copy prior to our color consultation? Cheers yes definitely, would make it heaps easier as it lists every single supplier of every thing you have to choose, with websites to check out the products, makes it much easier to choose before you get to your appointment so you'r enot too overwhelmed. Can you drop into a SImonds display home and ask for one? They should all have them. Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... Instead we had a tough time today at the Gallery tour with our 2 year old trying to note down all of the standards and extras available to us. If our CSO is not willing to help, I'll swing by a display home on Monday to pick one up. Thanks for heads up. My sales guy did forget to give me one first time, but I had to drop in for something so I asked for it (thanks to HomeOne members telling me about it!!) and they got one out of their cupboard full so they're definitely there. Makes life much easier! What area are you in? Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... Carlisle has this in Category 1. Re: Homestead Tan Bricks - Are they Category 1? 10Nov 08, 2009 6:54 am ssvetec Can any S!/\/\onds customers confirm that the Austral Homestead Tan brick is of course a category 1 brick? We got our Homestead Tan bricks as Category 1 bricks when we did colour selection, but that was in January. So, obviously Simonds have changed their lists. Re: Homestead Tan Bricks - Are they Category 1? 11Nov 08, 2009 8:45 am Yeah...that's why I asked the question. I saw some members on here with S!/\/\onds houses with the Cat1 Homestead Tan brick...but at the gallery tour yesterday it was listed as a Cat2 brick. So they've definatley made the change. They've obviously identified mass demand for this brick and found a way to eek out a little more $$$ from home buyers Btw...any ideas on how much it would be to upgrade from Cat 1 to Cat 2? Cheers Re: Homestead Tan Bricks - Are they Category 1? 12Nov 08, 2009 10:15 am ssvetec Btw...any ideas on how much it would be to upgrade from Cat 1 to Cat 2? No idea. Depends on the number of bricks your house needs, I assume. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13780 |
