Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 07, 2009 4:02 pm We have chosen dulux 'lexington quarter' for our ceilings and 'beige royal quarter' for walls. Im pretty happy with the way they look together BUT I went to my brothers house today and he has been doing up an old house and his kitchen colour is lexington. On his walls it looks a little grey? with maybe a very light touch of blue? It doesnt at all look this colour on my sample and Im hoping its just the old wall under his or something like that! Does anyone have this colour and can ease my mind by telling me its not grey and more white??? Re: worry about paint colour 'lexington' opinions please 2Nov 07, 2009 4:07 pm Are you sure you don't mean Lexicon? I know you should know you own paint colour but I hadn't heard of it and just did a search on the Dulux website and it doesn't exist there. 1/4 Lexicon is a very very pale grey...ish type colour
Lexicon 1/4 It won't let me put the colour on here Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: worry about paint colour 'lexington' opinions please 3Nov 07, 2009 4:16 pm oh yeah, sorry it is lexicon! Hmmmm, the girl at the colour appoint suggested this colour but she was a bit 'iffy' I certainly dont want grey ceilings! Im wanting just the usual off white. I think I will ring monday and discuss. She also suggested have=ing the wall colour as our eaves? But not sure that beige royal quater will look good against paperpark and think id rather just off white on the eaves, isnt that what they usually do? Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7143 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3230 Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent. 4 5713 |
