Though we are not sure whether maybe this is a better colour. Currently debating it before we say anything to the SS, opinions anyone? We are going to have timber strapping, wooden window frams and front door match whatever colour the garage door is. Also you can see a rendered pillar in the first phooto. Sorry about crappy phone photos and the size of them Re: Building a Liana - *Garage door, paint and render photos 107May 12, 2010 4:30 pm Well sorted out the garage door, they are going to put the right one on. Still haven't decided which one I like better, but wife is sure about the dark one so the decision is made Re: Building a Liana - *Garage door, paint and render photos 108May 13, 2010 12:16 pm MarkJ Well sorted out the garage door, they are going to put the right one on. I also think you're very smart to listen to your wife Re: Building a Liana - *Garage door, paint and render photos 111May 21, 2010 6:41 pm Pics update. Tiling is nearly complete. Having a bit or an argument with Simonds at the moment, seems some people there have no clue about whats happening. Our tiles cost $63 a sqm plus laying costs and thats what it says on the fashion tiles paperwork, but I think for some reason the simonds people think its the standard $27.50 plus $63., like the 63 is the difference between their standard range and the tiles we chose. Anyways still waiting for them to ring me back so I can sort them out. Timber strapping on the front is done. Annoying thing is the guy I talked to (apparently their ops manager) couldn't really explain to me how they charged and then was very rude to me on the phone. Just want to get the thing finished and moved it. I think the fun in building a house is picking stuff for it and moving in. Everything else inbetween is a pain, though watching it go up is fun sometimes (as long as its progressing quickly). Re: Building a Liana - *Tiles nearly done, timber strapping 114May 25, 2010 6:25 pm Well that's just cr@p! He couldn't explain it cause he obviously has no idea!! Re: Building a Liana - *Tiles nearly done, timber strapping 115May 25, 2010 6:28 pm WOW! Loving that timber strapping too! Little buggers who ever got onto your windows - I hate stupid vandalism like that - it really pees me off! Lovely tiles - everything is looking great! It's coming together nicely! Still a bit of tiling to do and some light switches. I don't know why they still havent covered that wooden pole in the pillar yet, doesn't really matter as long as it gets done I guess . They also still haven't changed the garage door. Re: Building a Liana - *PCI Booked* 120Jun 05, 2010 8:23 am Woohoo for PCI date!!! Your house is gorgeous, garage door looks great! Cant wait to see the timber strapping stained to match (Even if it doesnt get stained to match, still looks great as is!) Joe, it depends on your certifier but we are noticing the ones we deal with are really cracking down.
