Hope you can wash the slabs a bit ... but I thought they were painted already? I thought they only need to come back for the fixes??
Poor Holly, she must be stressed too ... but the worst for all of you is O-V-E-R !!!! Now you can take it slowly and enjoy!! If only the concrete mob would appear, fix and disappear and you're done with them!!
Hey Lex, yeah the worst is over (I hope lol). Have found since moving in some of the paint defects they were suppose to fix haven't been fix...didn't notice them on the final one because it was done at a different time of day and they didn't show up on the walls. But I'll live with it, I'll probably go around and put another coat on within the year.
The driveway mob ...... hmmmmmm yes well its making life VERY difficult to say the least. The poured the slab on the friday and they were suppose to come back on the monday and tuesday to cut and seal it. Because of the issue I raised with them and the weather etc etc it didn't get done. I had told them I was moving in on the 23rd and they said they would finished it on the Thursday so we could at least walk on it. Got here Friday and it had only just been cut the day before (it was still a bit wet) and they had cleaned it. Creating a mud pit on either side of the driveway and there was a piece of timber on the driveway with a note on it.
" Driveway just presure cleaned, DO NOT WALK ON!!! If dirty you will be fined $300." Well you can imagine my reaction with the removalists turning up at 7am...I was so angry.
So now I have red stains on the concrete where I can't get the mud off and they might be turning up tomorrow to seal it (if its not raining).
I organised everyone for the Friday, I organised it so the removalist and the heating guys would be here but everyone else was scheduled to arrive during the afternoon at different times. The removalists where here at 7am, the heating guys turned up at 8.30am, then the plumber turned up at 9am, then the electrician turned up at 9.30, the and by 11am I had foxtel, the good guys and the tv antenna guy here too lol Was absolute madness!!!
Only just opened my new clothes dryer last night and when I took the foam off the top of it, a piece of plastic fell to the ground. I picked it up and then looked at the dryer and one corner is crushed in. It looks like its been dropped on its corner at some stage. I didn't get one piece of my lounge delivered and the rangehood flue is to short. So I have some phone calls to make today to get these things fixed.
I don't have a phone, I use my mobile for calls and Ive got a vodafone USB broadband. Its vveerrrrryyyyyyyyy slow here and it keeps disconnecting. Going to be painful uploading the photos!
