I do believe that your company ( FWits Inc) had (in way of compensation for a massive balls up with a kitchen window), installed various electrical points as agreed to on *insert date here* at a meeting between myself and * insert incompetent SS's name here*. Furthermore at said meeting, it was agreed that due to the massive ballsup with said kitchen window by your company (FWits Inc), the splashback would be reduced in size underneath said massively ballsedup window. As I had paid extra for a larger splashback, your company (FWits Inc) now owes me the difference between what was initially quoted and what was actually installed. I look forward to receiving said owed credit, undergoing handover and never having to deal with your company (Fwits Inc) ever again, Yours sincerely, Froggie Hahahaha, well done Deemaree, I think you should copy that and email to S tomorrow morning Frogger. I do agree with Deemaree that our SS is surely INCOMPETENT with his job. Re: Froggies build - Final invoice and Occ permit received! 1328Jul 05, 2010 9:59 pm Frogger oh I like a dare lol I may take out the fwits bit though lol Spoil sport! Well-at least until you have the keys! Yeah I'm happy with the house....but I feel like I've missed out on one of the most important part....the excitement!!! I have had that "oh wow my tiles have gone down" or "ohhhhhhhh look my painting is down" because its always been coupled with someone going wrong!! I love my paintings too. Not a lot of people like them because they are so bold. But thats the african way...I just fell in love with africa when I was over there and I have a step sister who lives over there. So she's been sending me stuff as well. So between the stuff that I came home with and the stuff she's sent me...I should be doing o.k with cool stuff Have thought about the building commission and if they still fail to deliver on the refund for the splashback not used, then I will seriously consider it!!! I've read through little bits and pieces previously and never gotten through the whole thing and since I have been on holidays I thought its about time I read through it all! When will you offically move in? Re: Froggies build - Final invoice and Occ permit received! 1335Jul 07, 2010 7:24 pm I have no idea Flagstaff I got an email yesterday saying that they need to work on the house for at least another week and a half. So it could be another 3 weeks before I get my keys!!! Re: Froggies build - Quotes...quotes and more quotes 1336Jul 09, 2010 2:36 pm Nothing much to report on. Last contact I had from the builders was last Monday saying they will need another week and half to fix the problems and then they will give me final inspection date...then I'll get the hand over date!! I hope they know how to jump cause I have planned for my driveway to be started on Friday 16th...and possibly a concrete slab for the pergola area (depending on price). Have been busy getting quotes on concrete, gates, doors, curtains and blinds and I'm starting to feel like my head is spinning!! I can't wait for my mum and dad to come down so I can at least pass some of the burden onto them lol I've only been able to get the week of the 19th off, so if this epic of a build end on the week after that the 26th...I can't take any leave at all I've already had to re-schedule my removalists twice and my r/e agent gave me an extention until the 19th. Barhumbug!! Will update more when I know more Re: Froggies build - Quotes...quotes and more quotes 1337Jul 09, 2010 7:43 pm Hi Lorr, I haven't been in here for a while and I had 10 pages to catch up on I am not much of a blue person either (except for my kids bedrooms) but I think your splashback looks great and it will look stunning when you get all your matching blue accessories around the place. Another trip to Ikea is definitely in order What ended up happening about the insulation? We upgarded to batts too as I hate the blow-in stuff (plus we have allergies to dust). I never heard of them blocking off the top of the walls before, don't think they did that in our last house either Hopefully you get handover before your deadlines. Hey Hels The blue has grown on me now and I love it. Can't wait to get back to ikea...thats where I'm going to get my dining table and tv cabinet from. I just need some dining chairs! I have no idea about the insulation yet. I guess I will find out if they fixed it when we come to do the next inspection. I'm getting the inspector in again to make sure they have fixed the problems. I trusted them before and I was disappointed to find that they * to me! I'm not going to get handover by the 19th I'll have to ring the agents again on Monday and the removalists too Re: Froggies build - Quotes...quotes and more quotes 1339Jul 09, 2010 11:18 pm Bu@@er! BUt the trip to IKEA sounds good! Check out all the green stuff for me while you're there!
