I am firmly of the opinion that they are a bunch of crooks who try to rip you off at every turn because they know that you have no idea what they are talking about! He's with ABC Mortgages and helped us with the loan for the land and now the variation to construct. We've spoken heaps on the phone, emailed and faxed documents but I wouldn't know him if I passed him on the street!! ......I know it's not in the spirit of the thread, but he's been a delight to deal with - no problems at all and very quick. He must get special attention from RAMS! The finance has been a breeze compared to the actual building company....grrrr. Took 8 weeks to get it rectified. All they needed to do was just change one number. And also the budgeting, we are constantly cutting things back because new expenses come up.
