Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 06, 2009 9:05 pm Is asphalter even a word? Anyway, sold the old house and so of course the next day we seem to have a leak in the driveway SE Water somehow spotted it and came and turned the water off and told us we have 4 days to fix it. Got a plumber out who thinks its just a matter of a cracked pipe - only problem is the pipe is under my asphalt driveway Luckily its at the very start of the driveway, not in the middle, but he is going to have to cut out a big patch about 1x1.5m to get to the pipe to fix it. So of course I am going to have to have it re-asphalted afterwards. Do not want to jeopardise this sale!! (To be on the safe side, I'm also going to call the real estate agent to be honest and tell him, he knows there was a leak anyway, and I dont want the new buyers thinking I'm trying to do a swifty or anything). SO - know anyone that will do a quick and little asphalt job? Preferrably for cash???? Cheers Caz Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating....
