Re: S!/\/\onds Standard Inclusions - Paint Coats 4Nov 03, 2009 11:26 am 2 coat system 1x Undercoat and 1 x top coat (Standard) We have gone for their 3 coat sytem which is 1 x Undercoat and 2 x Top coat. We have chosen a darker colour so our paint was not part of their standard range and it was necessary to upgrade to the extra coat due to the colour. I have heard from may people (with lighter coloured paint) that they were not happy with the 2 coat system as you could see joins and inperfections in the wall through the paint. Worth the upgrade. Thanks. There are plenty of builders around my suburb. I'll make sure to do some door-to-door knocking, or note their building details on the temp fence. 4 2620 What we have done in a few theatres ( including my own) is run 2 layers of 13mm gyprock, but sounds insulation especially for the bass is really tricky as a lot of that… 4 1679 Go to an actual paint store, not bunnings. Dulux even have trade centers. Don't have to be a trade to but their paint. 1 14070 |
