Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 26, 2009 11:13 am Hey I am building my house and my garage door got scratched when they were putting it in, they have touched it up but you can still sort of see it. I am building with Dennis family homes and have not made final payment so do you think I can get them to change whole garage door? Legally you are entitled to either a replacement, refund, or repair. (your choice, not theirs) Unfortunately it seems you've already gone for the repair option by getting them to touch it up - did you request they do this? Or did they just go ahead without getting approval from you? Re: Scratched garage door. 5Oct 26, 2009 5:49 pm Thudd You paid for a new door and they delivered a damaged one. So im yet to see what happens with my fence. Not that it helps you in anyway, but so you know your not alone. Id be pushing it up the line and saying you want it replaced if thats what you want, i dont know if it will happen but give it a shot.
