Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 25, 2009 6:41 pm I have been looking at the wiring in the new house and I noted a small electrical juntion box that I guess inside has some wires joined together using screw terminators. The ceiling space will be inaccessible once it is complete. Is this an acceptable practice? Does the building code allow this or the Wiring rules for that matter? Has anyone else had this? Thanks dan Re: Junction box in a closed ceiling space 2Oct 25, 2009 7:38 pm very common practice nothing to worry about Kodiak Data Cabling onFaceBook Consult*, Design and Installation Data, TV, Home Theatre/ AV Cabling, Multi Room Audio, IP CCTV and Door Intercoms Ask for a Quote. *DIY DATA Cabling Is Ilegal Re: Junction box in a closed ceiling space 3Oct 25, 2009 7:42 pm If you are worried about a junction box up there, don't freak out about all the houses that have ducted heating units up there! I guess i woudl have thought that the AS3000 wiring rules may have said something about that.
