Are they going to do the site scrapes on the same day? R Yeah thats a funny story...... According to my SS i have to wait till they put the fence up and loo for the site behind me before they start so the excavator fella can do both sites at once. The funny part was that the fence and loo for that job was put on another block lol Masterton wanna make it one big site whwere both houses will be built at the same time. The SS contacted me yesterday and said the site should be scraped Friday...so I cant wait to take a drive past and hope to see it in action, he then went on to say that I should have a slab by next friday(20th Nov), Im kinda hoping my frame will be erected by the time the xmas break comes along. They are Woodstock - Sandstone Gold "double height". The tradies have told me that random people comment on them regularly as they walk by. Looking forward to seeing my internal colour selections. I got close to it with my extended double garage but still would've way preferred the 3! I love the stacker doors you went with too! Do you mind me asking how much they charged you for the extra garage? From memory think the extra garage was an extra $2,700 Hopefully have some more pics up next week...waiting on my bricks being cleaned and gyprock going in. Hopefully your new SS will hit the road running, fix your frame problems and get everything back on track. Re: Jason's Bachelor Pad progress(Sirocco 7) Frame, roof ,bricks 37Feb 06, 2010 11:18 pm Well have changed to another SS, my house has pretty much not progressed...actually it has taken a few steps backwards. First there were frame issues, something about the frame had not been straightened before the gyprock sheets were put in place and my trusses were leaning over 90mm out of plum , so parts of the gyprock had to be ripped off. My roof tiles were laid in december and still have not been sealed (wet-bedded). Bricks were only cleaned on thursday considering they were finished mid January!? I should of been close to lock up stage by now but tradies not turning up and days of no work on my home have been a common occurrence....not happy jan. Was informed the SS handed over a house with 42 defects prior to transferring to overseeing the construction of my home...Im feeling very discouraged.
