What kind of plans & block sizes are you having? It sounds like Andy may be the first to start. Very exciting I've been reading other people's comments on here and i'm a bit worried by all the things that seem to go wrong for people. I just hope it can all go smoothly. I think we will be ready to go late December/ early January but i think the builders have about a month off over christmas (?) . I don't think they will actually start til late Jan/early feb. How many bed/bath and do you have ideas for colour scheme? We are only single story 3 bed 1 bath as we are FHO. Our block is 900m2 with a paddock as our back fence and views of Tamworth in the distance. We're first home owners too so I understand about having a smaller house I think your blue colours would go nicely with creams and browns. Check out Shell83's thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.p ... 5&start=20 she's got an amazing blue tiled splashback - maybe you could do something like that Re: Anyone building in early 2010??? 19Oct 24, 2009 5:39 pm Hi dilla, thanks for the link and the vote of confidence I'm feeling a little uneasy about blue - how much and where to use it. It seems an uncommon colour to use and i don't want to stuff it up! Well we have a month or two to decide and we haven't even visited a paint/tile/carpet shop yet! Decisions, decisions hey P.S. Your house isn't that small! It has lovely extras like an ensuite & alfresco I forgot to say in the last post that i also like your block with all the trees Do you know if you will you knock down the ones within the actual block? plan,block,contract:8-9/2009 Land settle & FHOG$:15/2/2010 Site start:19/5 Slab:4/6 Frames&Trusses:11/6 Roof,windows:24/6 Bricks:1-5/7 Gyprock:14-16/7 Kitchen!,garage door:5/8 Driveway,verandah,tank:2/9 Paint:17-23/9 Tiles!!:15-20/10 Kitchen&bathroom appliances,blinds:22/10 Carpet:8/11My blog: http://buildingbug.blogspot.com Re: Anyone building in early 2010??? 20Oct 24, 2009 5:49 pm Hopefully Jan/Feb/March 2010.
