What I would like is a list of landscapers Anyone have any suggestions? Hi Houdaman, Give Skyline Landscaping ago, they are one of my preffered contractors I use on my commerial buildings projects. They are really good, both on price & quality. Haven't seen much of there residential works, they will be doing mine though. Skyline Landscaping already within the estate for Investa. Hi, Thanks for that link. I had a look at their website and it looks like they would charge a packet! but I'll still give them a call and see what they offer. Cheers. Houda ---- Built the Lincoln 35 at Georges Fair Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 4151Aug 25, 2012 8:16 pm hor8737 I am looking to buy land and build in Bushview lane. Has anyone completed their own Bal Assessment and what Bal level did they come up with. I was told I can do my own & send it with my building application to council, is this correct. Regards Tim Have only just joined the forum and saw your post about Bushview Lane. Not sure if you went ahead, but I am currently building with EB in Bushview Lane. Did my own BAL via the Bush Fire Brigade earlier this year and reduced the level significantly from what the builder wanted to charge. Initially in excess of $15K - dropped to $5.9K (BAL 19). Just before final sign-off of plans, was advised that Council no longer required Bushview Lane to be zoned for fire risk, and the $5.9K was credited back to me. Suggest you check with Council before being talked into costs you may not need - I found them very helpful. October would be awesome... but I think Nov is a bit more realistic. My husband and I drove past today and they've got heaps to do in 4 weeks if they're aiming for Oct. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 4153Aug 26, 2012 9:51 pm Hi, I'm building the Heathcote 35 with EB at on Speare St. I'm confused about the facade colour scheme... we want to go with a dark brick - probably Boral Victoria Blue (which is Scheme 4 or 6 I think). Reason I'm confused is I know the facade 'feature' colour is teal but when we do a drive through the estate to see how other people have applied this - I don't see many EB homes that use the teal even though I'm sure we've chosen the same scheme. Anyone have any feedback? Are both Eden Brae and GF lenient with way facade colours are used? They don't seem to be flexible... but looking around the estate I'm definitely not seeing much teal action . Or is this one of those things GF tries to enforce which homebuilders take as "guidance". To me it looks like they're relatively easy going with the colours as long as you stick with the moroka/render/brick rule. Can anyone offer some feedback? Darn design guidelines!!! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 4154Aug 26, 2012 10:36 pm One more question Does anyone know how much extra Boral Victoria Blue bricks are? I saw a really old post of 77c... am assuming it'll be a few dollars by now Anyone have any idea or recommendations for something similar? Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 4155Aug 27, 2012 8:22 pm Hey, Could you PM me the details of the landscaper for Investa please? Would really like to know if they are whacking a tree of foot path outside my block infocus Hey Bel Landscape Solutions are planting trees and doing all landscaping. I assume that includes pathways, not sure. I'll PM you the number. They can tell you what is being put in your street. But it isn't there decision on what trees are planted. That is Investa's choice. _________________________________________________________ Builder: Eden Brae Homes Design: Cambridge 27 Location: Georges Fair - Moorebank Website: http://mumuandbubusdreamhome.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 4156Aug 27, 2012 9:24 pm You may have to check with the office. Landscape Solutions were supposed to do our stage but got the boot apparently so some other landscape contractors have the job. Contractors may differ from stage to stage. You will have a tree for sure. Path could go either side. We actually complained about the chosen tree for our street. They were going to put a Eucalyptus Scoparia in a street which only has 9 homes. We requested they plant Magnolias and they actually listened to us. For all your joinery needs, we custom build kitchens, office, wardrobes, garage, laundry fit outs plus TV units, pantry, linen and everything in between. PM me for more info or details.
