Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1862May 18, 2011 9:25 pm No worries. Question to all. How many flyers do you think would cover all residents currently living @ GF (and surrounding areas)? Also, it's just an A4 printed page. My wife Kate will print as many as possible at work but if anyone can also print some that would be a help. I could email it directly so you could print and we can each have a designated area to drop off so nobody receives doubles. For all your joinery needs, we custom build kitchens, office, wardrobes, garage, laundry fit outs plus TV units, pantry, linen and everything in between. PM me for more info or details. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1863May 18, 2011 9:27 pm I can print them at work but I only have access to a Black and White printer, but if your happy with Black and White I could do a fair few as I start before anyone else does in the mornings = ) Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1864May 18, 2011 9:29 pm Hi infocus Many will think that it is existing Benedict recycling plant. I suggest that we say "When one plant is to closed to be turned to a proposed marina, another one is now proposed to be built!" ... What do you think? I think we should also cover more areas other than GF like on the other side of Georges River and other Moorebank areas. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1865May 18, 2011 9:33 pm Perhaps painting on a big white cloth as banner and putting across attached to the fence will highlight the matter. That will bring about maximum awareness to the community and also to the public. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1866May 18, 2011 9:35 pm HI Everyone i just got the letter in the mail regarding the recycling plant. Im So angry. I am just starting to build in gf, and was never told about any industrial development. value will drop, i wanted to make money not lose I will be definitely going to the meeting regards Brad Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1867May 18, 2011 9:45 pm Looks good infocus. Maybe another version of it for Moorebank in general? The residents between GF and the golf course should be told of this also. Plus a few posters around the shopping centre might get some interest from the community too Built a Clarendon 'Balmain' 2008 Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1868May 18, 2011 9:54 pm i would like to help let me know if you need anything. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1869May 18, 2011 9:55 pm Quick edit as Sloo888 suggested. I will leave the heading as is but will change it from GF to Moorebank Residents for others to print. If anyone can print whether it be colour or black and white please PM me your email address. For all your joinery needs, we custom build kitchens, office, wardrobes, garage, laundry fit outs plus TV units, pantry, linen and everything in between. PM me for more info or details. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1870May 18, 2011 10:03 pm It's really good infocus..... I will contribute $100 first to cover printing cost. Hope the rest in the community will also chip in ... whatever small will certainly help. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1871May 18, 2011 10:08 pm Mark just measured how far the plant would be away from our lot in Bradbury st it is ONLY 500m! from stage 3a it is 1km! That is not very far! looking at the picture i thought it would be further away! Dave i just PM you my address please send the flyer - are we going to all meet up and letter box drop at the same time or just do it when we can? Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1872May 18, 2011 10:17 pm No need for the cash 888. Kate is printing from work. It's on the house! I have a few emails so far. My question is how do we organise who does where so the same house doesn't receive it twice? I don't want to throw it down peoples throats and scare them off with multiple flyers in their letterbox. I would still like to keep the Georges Fair heading for GF residents as it would catch their attention quicker. I think we would have to drop off whenever each of us are available as it would be almost impossible for all to meet at the same time. For all your joinery needs, we custom build kitchens, office, wardrobes, garage, laundry fit outs plus TV units, pantry, linen and everything in between. PM me for more info or details. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 1873May 18, 2011 10:22 pm I can help to mail drop too. Infocus, you got my email address, I think. Please let me if you do not have mine.
