I am not too happy with 2 things: 1) Sewer Peg Out Report for $910 2) Adjacent Lots Footprint Survey for $250 Can anyone provide any insights onto whether they had to have these done or if there is anyway around them? Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5905Jan 15, 2015 9:55 am Hi All Just want to bring this to everyone that we went to GF this weekend to inspect our lot and found that some people are dumping their old stuffs on the vacant lands. Please don't do that. Coz later on the builders will charge the owner of that land for removal cost. I believe all the residents of GF are generous and cooperative. Thanks Tender signed 14/04/2015 Contract signed 28/04/2015 Council Approval 23/06/2015 http://lincoln30mkii.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5906Jan 15, 2015 10:20 am Hasan_S14 Hi All Just want to bring this to everyone that we went to GF this weekend to inspect our lot and found that some people are dumping their old stuffs on the vacant lands. Thanks Hi Mate, sometimes the builder did that. so from one site, they dump into another site (that use the same builder) so they can charge the customer more. We saw household stuffs like broken fans, wardrobes, pots, etc. I don't think so it being dumped by builders but I agree with you, they does this kind of things to charge customers with extra bills. Has anyone read the below news regarding the Moorebank Freight Terminal. Does this gonna affect the GF community? http://www.smh.com.au/business/billion- ... 20tfo.html Hey Hasan Looks like the new development is going to affect Wattle Grove area ( I know its not that far away from GFs). I am sure if the new development goes ahead we will see another increase in traffic on Nuwarra Road and Newbridge Road. Brickmakers Drive has 5 ton load restriction, however you still can hear trucks driving by in the estate. On another note, I urge GF community to write to Liverpool Council requesting for another access point to be developed to access Brighton Lakes. The development is not approved by the council yet and we still have time to express our concerns. New development will not only affect residents on Brickmakers Drive and surrounding streets, it will affect the entire estate- increased traffic, pollution on noise. Hi mate, will it be better if we present a case with, say, picture or video on what the traffic on Brickmakers Drive looks like on peak hour? and then all other resident signed some sort of petition requesting a new access point for the lakes? Hi Denot You are right, it will be better to do it as a community and obtain signatures from all/most residents. That depends if residents agree with the above and happy to show their support...... I myself had a week off and got home yesterday. While I was away I had a relative call me to inform of a busted pipe that was flooding the front yard and spilling on to the street. As far as I'm aware, this would be a plumbing issue and is covered in the warranty of a new home (built with WH, moved in mid October 2013). Can any one shed some light on what the appropriate actions should be? I prefer not to pay for a plumber to come out and fix someone else's dodge work (if that's the case, a bit presumptuous), however I don't want to live with out running water/showers. I have already taken pictures/video of the leak (about 1m from the RH side of the building at the front) and forwarded them off to the maintenance co-ordinator at WH, but no response as yet, as expected. I have also called and left a voice mail this morning. I know who did the plumbing job as I've had them come around to check the gas unit when we moved in (was leaking). Is it worth while getting them to come out myself? I'm at a bit of a loss here - any help is greatly appreciated. You don't realise how much you need water when you don't have it!
