Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5848Sep 24, 2014 6:18 pm GFairResident Next time I walk my dog and your car is parked on footpath which belongs to council NOT YOU - expect scratches I dislike people who do this, but keying someone's car is one of the LOWEST acts an individual could do. I've had my car keyed before just because it was brand new and clean. If it is the same person doing it, how about knocking on the door and having an adult discussion with them about it! Keying is not the sort of juvenile behaviour we want in GF! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5851Sep 25, 2014 11:08 am GFairResident Next time I walk my dog and your car is parked on footpath which belongs to council NOT YOU - expect scratches What sought of cowardly knobhead would take the time to write the imbecilic rant above but not take the time to walk around a car? If the timid dog walker lacks the gumption to approach the owner a complaint to the local council should resolve this momentous issue. However I suspect that GFairResident is too peahearted to put their name on anything. What a prig!! "Like" Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5853Sep 25, 2014 12:05 pm BillMac I shouldn't have to walk around someone's car, especially when its parked on footpath. Common sense is hardly used this days and it looks like some people in Georges Fair have no idea what that means. I will not waste my time talking to knobheads who have no common sense, especially when there is plenty of street parking available. Take other residents into consideration. I don't park in your driveway, don't park in areas which are designed for pedestrians. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5855Sep 25, 2014 3:20 pm Do you realize the cost of damage you do to someone when you key their car? A) You're talking about $600-$1500 worth of damage. B) Time for the car to be at the painters C) finding time off to organise the repairs, this could result in time off work for some and affect their transport to and from work. All because you were unwilling to go around a single car, according to my estimation this is about 3-5 metres. Your suggestion of on street parking is fine and dandy but some streets are just way too narrow to allow on street parking. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5856Sep 25, 2014 4:39 pm GFairResident, You talk about common sense............ Common sense says that if you have an issue with something, then talk to the person about it! Common sense does NOT say resort to vandalism. Its a worry that this is the mentality we have living in GF! Also please note the terms of use of this forum where it states "individuals can be traced very easily by IP address" - just saying! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5857Sep 25, 2014 7:59 pm GFairResident post is just an example of the human race, you have people that live with life's little inconveniences & then you have the people that feel there rights are violated for every little inconvenience. My daughters magnetic P plates were removed from her car parked (legally) in our driveway, those that felt they needed them probably live in GF. There is zero selection process for a neighbour hood you just hope most will respect others & grant some concessions when required. I will just say if I catch anybody who feels the need to tamper with my property it wont be me who needs help P.S I walk my dog & detouring around a car isn't a problem because I'm walking the dog & he also doesn't complain. GFairResident Next time I walk my dog and your car is parked on footpath which belongs to council NOT YOU - expect scratches Also, to GFairResident, I am happy to see that the local residents are passionate about our estate but to lash out with a threat like that over a mere inconvenience is way over the top. If that is how you introduce yourself to your fellow neighbours, I am glad i don't live next door to you....You clearly have too much time on your hands to complain about something so insignificant. Let me guess, you're the type of person who has never run a red light, never exceeded the speed limit, never double parked, never cut off another driver, always indicated when turning....actually, you sound like the perfect human being. Now i wish we were neighbours. You speak of "common sense". You should try it sometime and maybe just walk around the car and move on with your life. ....ps. I feel sorry for your dog.
